Faithful companion of Kathy and Steve, Natasha is survived by Sultana ("BadCat") and her good friend Maddie. Ms. Mackel was pre-deceased by her beloved cat friends Martha, Frisco, and Keyser, whom she protected from coyotes and cuddled with on every possible occasion. A canine member of the 4000-ft club, Natasha spent her last day eating tuna fish and climbing the big hill next to her home--twice.
No condolences necessary--we climbed a lot of mountains together. She earned her rest on the mountain top.

oh Kathy, I'm so sorry.
Good dog. Good memories.
It still hurts. And I'm sorry.
Kathy, I am so sorry for your loss. But take consolation in knowing that heaven will be filled with our joys . . . and, I believe our canine ones. :-)
Many hugs,
Angie
Oh, Kathy, I'm sorry! I wish I could give you a hug. And Lady wants to climb into your lap and slather you with beagle kisses. Even Dolphin sends a consolatory purr and tail-twitch in your direction.
Thank you for sharing Tasha with us. Her antics have blessed me more than once.
I pray God would fill the empty space that you have right now.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Tasha had an amazingly long life, and she spent the last day doing things that she loved.
I'm glad you were at home when the time came.
Condolences.
So sad. Awesome Dog. Loved much.
Thank you all!
We're expecting Sadie (and my son, dil, and grandson) to join us this weekend, so the dog void will be filled for a little while. I'm already planning our walks. Yesterday was very lonely out on the trail.
